CDC Inc. is owned by Bruce Khabbazi (CEO).  It was started by Bruce after graduating from Accounting and Financial management in 1995.  The Khabbazi family has been in the food business for over 125 years.  Bruce is the fourth generation entrepreneur to work in the field.  He has a vast knowledge of different food products thanks to his father.  Bruce worked in the family business starting at age 8. 

The company began by exporting Canadian grown beans and lentils to Europe, after two years of success it expanded to import specialty food products from overseas.  Since the competition in imported food products was intense and the profit margins small, CDC identified a unsatisfied need for and started to produce yogurt drink for ethnic markets.  The product caught on quickly all over Canada and the USA.  CDC was not only able to offer a higher quality product, but gave the customer a level of focus and service that had been lacking.  CDC is now the number one producer of yogurt drinks for the North American Ethnic food market
